Back to Boosts #2| Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation

In all honesty, I went for this foundation because it was the only one I recognised in Boots bar ones I’ve previously tried and hated. I’ve seen it advertised and I’ve noticed a couple of blog posts with it pictured.

I found the formula to be a little thicker than most other foundations I’ve tried (except Mac, that stuff is like paint!) but it applied really smoothly especially on freshly cleansed & polished skin. The staying power was great although everything is when used with Urban Decay’s Naked BB cream as a base and their Setting Spray to finish!

Being pale as hell, I went for the lightest shade which was Light Ivory. One thing that puts me off buying foundations in Boots/Superdrug is that there’s no mirrors or wipes or brushes to test the product with and no experts to help select the right match. But I actually did pretty well considering the circumstances. It’s probably a better match for my skin than my Cinique ones were.
