Having watched video after video about this mascara since first seeing it a couple of months ago, I figured I’d finally pick one up before the masses start jumping on the idea. The whole concept falls somewhere between mascara and lash extensions and as someone unable to get along with false lashes, I felt very keen to give this a go.
The 3D Fibre Lash Mascara comes in two parts; a transplanting gel in the longer tube and in the shorter tube- the fibres. The transplanting gel, being black, feels very much like a mascara and leaves the lashes thicker, longer and darker while creating a base to apply the fibres to. While still wet, you comb the fibres onto the lashes to layer up the thickness and length and finally set it with one last coat of transplanting gel (hint: do not forget final step, saw many Youtube videos warning this.)
I wore this a couple of days running and my eyelashes looked huge! I have naturally long eyelashes as it is so with just one coat of this (which is layerable) they looked like false lashes. I can’t see myself using this on a day-to-day basis as the results are dramatic but I certainly look forward to creating some great looks for nights out using this. Well worth the £15-30 price tag. Very impressed.
