Going Foundation Free

I can’t believe that just two weeks ago I didn’t have enough confidence to leave my flat without a full face of make up on. I’ve been foundation free since and I feel so proud of myself for it.

I’ve never had bad skin as such, just the odd spot or visible pore but I’ve always worn a full coverage foundation to hide the redness in my cheeks and the odd blemish. With some encouragement from a certain someone, I’ve managed to knock the habit and bare face day after day. I really do recommend going foundation free to anyone who’s stuck in the paradox of wearing foundation to cover blemishes caused by clogging your pores with foundation.

These products have really helped with smoothing out the appearance of my bare skin without covering up my natural skin tone and rosy cheeks.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser- Perfect for pesky nose pores.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB- A nice light gel to get rid of redness. I use this on my eyelids because they’re relatively veiny.

Baby Skin Instant Fatigue Blur- Evens out and brightens your skin tone, great for when you’re skins looking dull.

Mac Pro Longwear concealer- For spots.

Witch Blemish Stick- Also for spots.
