T is for Toronto

Just under two weeks to go until I fly out to Vancouver to begin my 2 and a half week holiday in Canada and America. The final few days of this will be spent in Toronto, a city I have always wanted to visit. I’ll be meeting up with my parents, brothers and auntie who are finishing their longer holiday travelling across Canada in the beautiful city.

Thanks to my father being organised there are a few exciting things we’ll certainly be doing while we’re there while celebrating my mum’s 50th birthday.

Niagara Fallsย
Famously one of the most incredible waterfalls on earth, Niagara Falls sits on the border of the US & Canada and is a popular spot for tourists like myself visiting Toronto.

Maid of the Mist

The Maid of the Mist boat tour is visible in 2 of the 3 images above and is a highly popular boat tour that takes you into the very heart of the falls.

Toronto Islands (by ferry)ย
Easily the spot for the most beautiful views of the incredible Toronto skyline on one side of the islands and views of Lake Ontario from the other, the Toronto islands are home to plenty of greenery and some truly beautiful beaches.

Steam Whistle Brewery
I don’t really have a huge deal to say about visiting a brewery since I don’t actually like beer nor did their website tell me anything interesting or impressive. Hoping to see some drunken family members though.

CN Tower Edge Walkย
Briefly mentioned in my previous and very first Alphablogathon post (A is for Adventure), I will be doing a walk around the edge of the CN tower in Toronto. Previously the tallest building in the world, they offer a once in a lifetime experience to walk around the top of it and lean over the edge. I’m absolutely terrified and will spend the entire time clinging on to my mummy.
