101 Goals in 1001 Days

I saw The Bell Jar’s recent update on the 101 in 1001 challenge and was instantly impressed and inspired (and envious) by the number of tasks she has already managed to cross of since May of this year. 101 is 1001 is a blogging tag that aims to improve your life in 1001 days (143 weeks) with 101 small goals. I was thinking of doing something extremely similar anyway so I’m very glad I came across this and can join in on an on going tag.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.

Below is my list of 101 mini-goals to do over the next 1001 days. Some are raining day to-dos and others are life changing but all of them will help me progress to where I want to be in life.

* goals in pink are in progress during the current month
