February Wishlist

I‘ve found myself in one of those financial situations where I know I have a roof over my head, food in the house and some very good friends to support me but I know it’s going to be a fair while until I can treat myself to any of the things I really want. Instead I’ll stare at this wishlist with longing puppy-dog eyes and hope that a long lost, millionaire relative of mine dies and leaves me their fortune pls & thanks xo.

Spring Wishlist

Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain, £5.49/£6.29

I’ve wanted to read this for a while, mainly because I used to be this hugely confident person. I was outgoing and most importantly extroverted. As the years have passed and I’ve matured, I’ve become more of an introvert and tend to keep myself to myself. I hope this book on introversion will give me some insight and positives about something that’s got me a little down.

Tinder Nightmares by Elan Gale, £9.98

I’ll admit that I’ve met a few people from Tinder now and near enough all of my single friends are currently using the app too, so this relevant and hilarious little book is up there on my list. I definitely want a paper copy of this as it’s one of those books I’ll end up lending out to everyone.

Urban Outfitters Black Marble Day Planner, £15

This day planner is just beautiful and would really allow me to organise my day so much more! I’m currently using this Busy B planner and some days are far too busy to outline in the space provided so I’d use this marble one as an extension of my usual one. Since it has no printed dates, I can use it solely for the busy days and not waste any paper in between, genius!!

Pixi Lengthy Fiber mascara, £16.00

Pixi are yet to do me any wrong and I’ve been dying to get hold of a cruelty free fibre based mascara so when I saw they’d released this nifty little thing in January I decided the second I can afford to, I’ll be picking up of these and hoping it lives up to my expectations.

Barry M Colour Correcting Flawless Primer, £5.99

When my Body Shop primer ran out recently I replaced it with an MUA primer and since they’re such a hit & miss, value brand I found myself disappointed with the greasy, oily formula of their primer and figured my next port of call would be this new for 2016 Barry M Primer at only £5.99.

Too Face 16 Hour Blush (in I Will Always Love You), £25.00

I can’t believe I still haven’t tried out Too Faced, they’re a hugely popular CF brand and their packaging and products are a great alternative to Benefit. This blush is ever-popular, long lasting and comes in a gorgeous coral shade which will complement my pale skin tone really well.

Illamasqua Freak Eau de Parfum, £65.00

Having recently caught a whiff of this for the first time, I’m dying to get my hands on a bottle. It’s a typically ‘Becca’ scent, not too feminine, intriguing, dark, and I absolutely love the simplicity of the bottle with its slanted base. It’s similar to Alien, Black XS & Black Opium so if you’re a fan of those check out this fantastic cruelty free alternative (although Alien is also CF.)

Have you tried any of these products or read these books? What did you think?
