I’m an avid reader and tend to average about one book a week over the year. Occasionally I do go through dry spells and summer is sometimes one of them because I’m so wrapped up in warm weather and weekends away and happiness (thank you S.A.D.)

This year however I am likely going to spend the warmer months working a lot and slightly impoverished. I’ll be reading a little during work but also on my days off in the blazing sun with friends and good wine. Here’s what I am planning to read this coming season…

1. Follow You Home by Mark Edwards

2. Girlboss by Sophia Amaruso

3. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

4. We Should All be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

5. The Hobbit by J R R Tolkien

6. The Heart Goes Last by Margaret Atwood

7. Bossypants by Tina Fey

8. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

9. The Humans by Matt Haig

10. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

also read:
Apples by Richard Milward
Viral by Helen Fitzgerald
