How excited is everybody about Autumn this year?! I’m actually writing this post on Saturday 1st October and I woke up this morning feeling really cosy and Autumnal. The air was crisp, my bed was all snuggly and my bedroom was filled with the scent of all the lovely new Lush Halloween products!
I sadly missed the Lush event this year in my local store but I went in the next day to pick up some halloween themed treats.
I was expecting Lush to be adorned with pumpkins and halloween decor but when I went in store I couldn’t even see any halloween stuff! Luckily one of their helpful & friendly staff helped me find all the products I wanted and went out the back to dig me out a Sparkly Pumpkin & Monster’s Ball.
Sparkly Pumpkin is an all time Halloween favourite for everyone right? It’s citrusy and bright yet still autumnal and cosy and full of dazzle. Some people hate the sheer amount of glitter this leaves everywhere but I don’t mind walking around being sparkly for a day!
I always prefer bubble bars to bath bombs simply because they’re so much better value for money. I can get a good 3-6 baths from a bubble bar as opposed to one from a bomb. At £3.95 this is one of Lush’s better value bars.
Over at the bath bombs/bars section though I found this beautiful Autumn Leaf bath bomb. I’m yet to use this little guy but I check out Lush’s hashtag on Instagram and boy oh boy it looks like it’s gonna be one beautiful bath!
As you can guess from the colouring and leafy shape, this autumnal bath bomb leaves streaks of red, yellow & green (rasta-bath?) and it smells grassy with hints of earthy scents like sandalwood and bergamot.
Lord of Misrule is back again both in bomb and cream form! A long time favourite this popping, fizzing bomb is super fragrant and leaves your bath super silky. I love this bomb because it leaves a scent on your skin after your bath.
MY NEW FAVOURITE is this beautiful Monster’s Ball, a bright and beautiful bomb which smells like fruity, sweet candy. It swirls these beautiful purple, blue & pink streams and dapples the water lilac. The colouring totally reminds me of Sully from Monsters Inc!
Just look at the beautiful patterns it made!
This spooky little ghoul below is Goth Fairy, a divinely scented shimmer bar which is suitable for use as a highlight or body shimmer. Perfect for the holiday season it can be used on legs, collarbones, cheekbones or shoulders to add a little moisture and shine.
Finally, the non-sparkly Pumpkin bath bomb. He smells a little like his sparkly friend but with a soft hint of vanilla and cinnamon which add a little spice to an otherwise fruity scent.
I’ll be using this alongside Sparkly Pumpkin to create the ultimate Lush Halloween bath!
